Elpida Fousteri is a Greek Artist working in both fields of Traditional Painting and Animation. Her work, mostly character driven, is not only influenced by Pop Art and inspired by the 90s Animated series but also life experiences themselves.

 

Her passion for characters has always been leading the way. With studies in Fine and Applied Arts in the field of Painting, at Aristatle University of Thessaloniki, as well as in Character Animation at University of the Arts London and attendance in several workshops, she has found her own technique and style dividing the subject in smaller parts by using fat brush strokes. Light and bright colours are an integral part in her work.

Developing a series of portraits, where she explores human traits through their style has been her major activity, although she has also been creating abstract artworks both traditionally and digitally.

 

Her latest work resides in storytelling and animation building imaginative worlds through moving image.
